CORPORATE TRAINING
Integrity, Responsibility, Teamwork, Commitment…. These qualities can make an ordinary organization stand apart from the rest. We all possess them, but do not necessarily live them everyday. These values can become the starting point
on your journey from ordinary to extraordinary.
The SPICE approach to team performance is fresh and unique. Corporate Adventure Training focuses on producing true collaboration and synergy by providing teams the rare opportunity to work together, applying insights and learning to solve real issues that relate back to the workplace.
Corporate Adventure Training offers opportunities for work teams to experience interactive team exercises. The programs can include the use of team building initiatives, low ropes and high ropes elements. Two types of activities are involved in the Challenge Courses, all requiring trust, effective communication and mutual support for success. High elements rise up to 60 feet above the ground; and low elements, also known as Strategic Games, are at ground level. Some may involve physical activity, while others focus mainly on creative thinking and problem-solving.
Corporate leaders are drawn to Challenge Courses because of its long-term effectiveness in the workplace. Through the course experience, executives can learn something new about themselves. After the program, all participants can expect to feel a new and profound sense of confidence. In a matter of hours they discover the difference between what they think they can accomplish and what they can actually do -- individually and as team players.
All business packages are available for businesses of most any size and starts with a general planning and assessment meeting and ending with general observations and
recommended next steps. All programs are customized to fit your needs.
Business Planning and Assessment
Initial planning and assessment are essential to develop an effective program that meets the needs of the organization. The initial planning phase includes 1-2 meetings with a key member of the organizations leadership team. This meeting is designed to gather the following information:
- Brief overview of the organization
- What is the culture and values of the organization?
- What does the organization do well?
- What areas are limiting the success of the organization?
- What is the desired outcome of the corporate training?
Assessment is a way to gather more information about individual members of the work team. Assessment can be in a standardized form or in a subjective interview form. Each organization can determine if this is required for them to evaluate on-going progress. The standardized assessment is offered as an add-on and is not a requirement to participate in the Corporate Training Program.
Another assessment that can be implemented prior to the group participating is the interview assessment. This information is collected from each participating team member and allows for a “bigger picture” view of the strengths and limitations within the organization. The program is designed with a collective perception of organizational needs. Cost of the assessment is based on planning time, the assessment tool and the time required to compile the data from the assessment.
Corporate Adventure Training at the Work Site
This 1-2 hour session can happen prior to or as a follow up to the group attending the full day training at the challenge course. During this time, the program staff will provide activities to further evaluate the work team. The activities will help group members prepare for what is next and to alleviate any fears associated with the challenge course training. This time is essential to get a commitment from all team members prior to moving forward with the training.
Other training and team building sessions can be provided on site as an on-going support to the Adventure Training experience.
